It is interesting to note that this business is doing what is now becoming a hot trend in signage installations: combining multiple reception area signs featuring different design styles and manufacturing techniques.
The Official Lobby Sign Exemplifies the Art and Science of Material Layering
The dimensional logo sign began with an expertly cut quarter-inch-thick piece of acrylic that was then layered on top of another piece of acrylic that also measured a quarter inch in thickness. The result is an impressive 3D lobby sign that adds depth to the design because it creates the optical illusion of being placed in front of the logo. Concurrently, it is behind another brand element that deepens the appearance of depth.
Core Values are Excellent Brand-Building Tools for a Reception Area
The client understood that brand-building is best served by displaying multiple signage solutions. Core value displays are favorites because they appeal as much to the employee as to the visitor and prospective customer. These products consist of acrylic with text printed to the back of the panels.
It allows the front to reflect the light without interruption. While we flush-mounted the lobby sign to the wall, these panels were mounted with brushed aluminum standoffs. A secondary wall panel is now displayed in the stairwell that employees typically use. It is a reminder of the commitment to customer service as well as respect for co-workers. As with the other panels, we also installed this one with standoffs.
Vinyl Wall Letters Show Employee Appreciation
It does not cost a lot to say thank you. However, a message of appreciation is always welcomed and creates a positive brand feel for the worker. The client opted to have us place vinyl wall letters in a script imitating a handwritten note. It personalizes the look. To further support this impression, we mounted the vinyl letters at a slight angle, so it looks like a note written by hand.
Window Graphics Welcome Customers, Employees, and Visitors
Setting the tone for the brand-centric presentation on the inside is the use of window graphics that we installed on the entrance doors. They are placed on the lower half of the glass panel’s upper third. This is a fancy way of saying they are precisely at eye height. Mountain the graphics there is no accident. It allows customers to see through the doors while walking up the entrance stairs, but it brings them face to face with the first brand presentation at the front door.
