Designing, Fabricating, and Installing an Upscale Sign with an Elaborate Logo
The client uses a stunning logo that is so intricate, it is impossible to fabricate it dimensionally. However, our shop printed it on the clear green-glass acrylic with the brown branded color, which perfectly complements the tone of the wall. For the company’s name, our technicians cut bronze color metal and stud mounted the elements to the wall offset with spacers.
The finished product looks elegant, perfectly encapsulates the firm’s brand, and is absolute eye candy. Besides that, the shadows cast by the panel and the 3D letters add to the impressive presentation of the lobby sign. The client was delighted!
Unusual Sign Materials? We Do That!
The sign we did for this client is an excellent example of the types of materials we work with. Green glass acrylic is available for all our clients. That said, there are other sign materials we use that might be a little off the beaten path as well.
- Core-Ten steel. Unlike stainless steel with its highly-polished finish, Cor-Ten is the exact opposite. It looks weathered and rusted. This presentation is a big part of its allure. It adds rustic chic to a space and can be the ideal avant-garde expression of a brand with the right interior decor.
- Manufactured plastic letters. Unlike flat-cut letters, manufactured lettering has rounded or prismatic facings. These letters have depths of up to two inches. Because of the rounded edges, these signs are perfect for well-defined brand fonts and their color combinations.
- Mixed media. Envision the use of acrylic, metal, and imprinted vinyl. You do not see it very often. However, when put together artistically, it is a fantastic look with a decidedly stylish appeal.
